April 18^th (Friday). The Chitose Police Department presented on bicycle safety to our students. This included video recreation of a car collision followed by a doctor’s description of head trauma. Hopefully the dramatic visuals helped students understand the risk of riding without a helmet. Later, examples of stylish helmets were shown as well as an explanation of how to properly wear a helmet. The key takeaway from the event was that “safety first”!

4月18日（金曜日）、千歳警察署が本校の生徒向けに自転車の安全講習を行いました。自動車衝突事故の再現映像に続き、医師による頭部外傷の解説が行われ、ヘルメット未着用時のリスクを生徒たちが理解する上で、衝撃的な映像が効果的でした。後半では、おしゃれなヘルメットの実例や正しい装着方法の説明もあり、イベントの最大のメッセージは「安全第一！」というものでした。
